Car Of The Month – November 2007

Well, here it is, ZSCentral.com’s first car of the month, and what a great example it is. Andy’s firefrost car demonstrates just how good the 2004 model year facelift looks, improving on the attractive mark one ZS in just about every area.
Andy picked up his car in 2005, just a year old and with less than eight thousand miles on the clock, for a fiver under £10k and he hasn’t looked back. Subarus and Mitsubishis were originally on his shopping list but Andy fancied something that was a bit different and would break the bank. After seeing an ad for the mark two, Andy saw one in the metal and his mind was made up.
I love the look of it, it looks beefy and the spoiler finishes it off nicely, I had to fight the wife for about 18 months to get it but it was worth it! I also like the fact that you don’t see many of them around.” Andy has kept the mods to a minimum, adding some neat touches to complete the car, with front fogs and the extreme rear spoiler finishing it nicely.
The ICE has not been left short-changed either with a 12 inch fusion amp and sub keeping the music coming. Andy hopes to add rear head-rests and chrome kickplates as final finishing touches, and (should the wife allow it) a stainless steel exhaust.
So there we have it. A great example of the late MG ZS saloon, thanks to Andy for sharing his story. There will be another ‘Car of the Month’ next month. Be sure to nominate your favourite members car in the forum.
